2, 3 and 4 Year Old Offer & Childcare Vouchers

2 Year Old Offer

The 2 year old early education entitlement is part of a national offer from the Department for Education (DfE) and has been developed to improve outcomes for identified two year olds who would benefit from access to high quality early years and childcare provision. Children who are confirmed as eligible will be offered up to 15 free early years education hours per week for 38 weeks, totaling 570 hours for your child’s eligible funding year.

However, parents will be expected to pay for any care which exceeds the free entitlement provided. Little Rosie’s will ask you for proof of your child's age for eligibility of the funding and when your child is eligible, we will return their details to Kensington and Chelsea Council on a termly basis to request the funding.

3 and 4 Year Old Offer

The 3 and 4 year old offer (formerly known as the Nursery Education Grant) is funding towards the cost of early years education and will help provide a free part time place for every three and four year old whose parent wants it for up to 30 hours per week from September 2017.

The offer for three and four year olds guarantees free entitlement for all parents, regardless of circumstances or income. The fees that the provider usually charges should be reduced by your child's funding allocation. However, parents will be expected to pay for any care which exceeds the free entitlement provided. Little Rosie’s will ask you for proof of your child's age for eligibility of the funding and when your child is eligible, we will return their details to Kensington and Chelsea Council on a termly basis to request the funding.

Childcare Vouchers

Your company may take part in the Childcare Voucher Scheme, which enables employees to have money deducted from their gross salary to go towards nursery fees. This is done through your employer not Little Rosie’s, however if you would like further information, please call the nursery.
