When can my child start Little Rosie's?

We welcome children from 18 months to 4 years old, with children supported through their nursery journey until they transition to school.

    What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, during term time.

    Do you offer Funded Childcare?

Yes. We offer eligible 15-and 30-hour funded childcare places. Please see our funding page for information about eligibility and how funded sessions work at Little Rosie’s

Can I visit the nursery before registering?

Yes, and we encourage all families to book a visit before registering. This gives you an opportunity to look around, meet our team and learn more about our approach and curriculum.

How do I register my child?

After visiting us, you can complete our online registration form. If a place is available, we will then contact you with an offer, including your child's sessions and expected start date.

What happens when my child first starts?

Every child is offered two 1-hour settling-in sessions before they start. We work closely with parents and carers to help children feel safe, comfortable and confident in their new environment.

How do you keep me updated about my child?

We use Tapestry, a secure online learning journal, to share updates about your child's learning, development and daily experiences. We also value regular face-to-face communication with parents.

What happens if my child is unwell?

Your child’s health and wellbeing are very important to us. If your child becomes unwell while at nursery, we will contact you and, where necessary, ask you to collect them.

To help protect all our children and staff, we follow our illness and exclusion guidelines and ask parents/carers not to bring children into nursery when they are unwell or experiencing certain symptoms.
